I’ve had a lot to reflect on this week. God is saying so much regarding my struggle and when God wants you to do something or He’s trying to get your attention, He will always send you confirmations. He sent me three yesterday, so without a shadow of doubt, I know what He’s requiring of me.
During church service on Sunday, one of our Elder’s preached about grace, the power of grace and Jesus’s fast in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. He stated that when Jesus fasted, he was in the spirit and the devil couldn’t overcome Him because He was full of power. When He finished fasting, he was in the flesh and was hungered, but He was full of power. Elder stated that when we’re in the spirit, the devil can’t approach us, we’re too powerful for him. But when we’re not in the spirit, we are overcome. He also mentioned that the devil works thru our mind and Jesus works thru our spirit. If we are to overcome, we have to be strong in the spirit. God confirmed to me yesterday, If I am to win, I have to proceed full of the spirit.
What stuck out to me most was the concept of staying in the spirit. As I discussed in “Fight For Your Deliverance” Part 3, to be delivered from a ungodly soul tie, God called me to fast and posture myself in His presence to receive instruction and power to overcome. It was 40 days of me and Him and nothing else. It was more than just giving up food, food was only a part of it. That fast was the giving up and laying aside myself and sitting at His feet. That fast was a divine exchange: all of my filth for his righteousness…all of my impurities for His holiness…all of my bondage for His freedom and liberty…all of my deception for his truth…all of my brokenness for His healing…my flesh for His empowered spirit and it was so much more.
I no longer want to be in this cycle. God is saying “If you want to be free, you have to fight just like you did before…lay yourself at my feet and be ready to fight…even if it feels like it will kill you…keep going until you win…it won’t kill you. All of Heaven is waiting for me to win.
God has called me in the past to go into a season of consecration and fasting to break that strongman and it worked. If I want this, I have to fight for it.
I Am Determined To Fight Not Just To Lose Weight, But To Fight For My Life…For That New Level In God…For That Double Portion Of Anointing… For The Harvest…The Former & Latter Rain…The Signs, Gifts And Wonders…For That Word On High…That Higher Place…For Doors In My Career And Finances To Open…Ministry Doors Open…Opportunities Open…All That God Has For ME…I’m Fighting For That! I’m Hungry For God. I’m Hungry For A Higher Place In Him. I Cannot Stay Here Any Longer! I WANT MORE! I NEED MORE! I HAVE TO HAVE MORE!
Christ is soon to return, I don’t have time for delays.

Join me in that fight. Seek God for direction as to what He would have you to do to go to the next level. Whatever the struggle, whatever the goal, Let’s resolve to SEEK GOD LIKE NEVER BEFORE. He want’s to give us something, LET’S GO GET IT!!!
