Recently, The Lord has been exposing in me the things that need changing. I realize that in order to get to the next level in Him, be free from my own bondage and strongholds, old habits and wrongful patterns of thinking, I have to submit, humble myself in obedience and work on being renewed in my mind that I may walk through His process and walk our my transformation until completion.
The bible says in Mark 2:22 (NIV),
And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”
I realize now that there’re things I’m asking of The Lord, new levels, new opportunities, new advances, new positions, more power, authority, doors opened, etc., but at this level, He’s telling me there’s more work in me to be done before He takes me there.
I realized the other day that in my heart, I felt unsatisfied and discontented. There’re certain things I’ve been asking and believing Christ for, things I’ve been faithful over and things I’ve been waiting to come to pass that’s been a long time coming and I found myself upset. As I talked with my husband, God was admonishing me to be patient with His process and allow Him to finish His work in me because what He desires to give me will be quality, built to last and withstand the test of time.
I understand now that my delay is not the devil but the Grace of God. God’s trying to call my attention that the area’s He’s calling me to fix and get in alignment with His will, I need to become more obedient and be renewed in my mind and walk out my deliverance until my transformation is brought to completion. That word completion has stuck with me and I get it now.
What’s God saying to all of us that’s waiting on Him to move mightily in our lives,
“Become obedient, be renewed in your mind and walk out your deliverance until your transformation is brought to COMPLETION.”
The truth is, we have to COMPLETE His process of transformation. Deliverance for some comes instantly, for most, it’s a daily process.
I can’t have the kingdoms of God or the promises until I first allow Him to finish His work in me, become obedient to the area’s He’s asking of me and walk out my process of transformation until completion. The Lord doesn’t half do things and He won’t give us things we’re not prepared to handle or potentially squander.
The truth is: I can’t take old stuff with me into new kingdoms for it’ll destroy me. He’s telling me to be patient and allow Him to bring my process to completion. It’s my job to position myself, be faithful over the things He’s called me to and focus my attentions on allowing Him to renew my mind to fully deliver me from those things that keep me bound.
For those of you that’s been waiting for God to move mightily on your behalf, God is saying to you too:
1)Become obedient to His promptings
2) Be renewed in your mind
3) Be patient and walk out your deliverance until your transformation is brought to COMPLETION.
The Lord will never give us more than we can handle, so it’s up to us that if we want to get to the next level in Him, we have to be okay with allowing Him to finish His work in us until it’s brought to completion, then, our hearts and souls will be free and satisfied to receive His miraculous. We have work to do, Let’s Get To It!
