As I’ve been reading Joshua chapter 6, The Lord has been ministering to me about the process the Israelite’s had to go through in order to conquer and obliterate giants from their promise-land. The Lord is telling us that we too, can use the same formula they used to obliterate our giants.
Joshua 6: 1-5, 16-17 says,
“1 Now the gates of Jericho were tightly shut because the people were afraid of the Israelite’s. No one was allowed to go out or in. 2 But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors. 3 You and your fighting men should march around the town once a day for six days. 4 Seven priests will walk ahead of the Ark, each carrying a ram’s horn. On the seventh day you are to march around the town seven times, with the priests blowing the horns. 5 When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town.”
16 The seventh time around, as the priests sounded the long blast on their horns, Joshua commanded the people, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the town!
20 When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelite’s charged straight into the town and captured it.”
As I was speaking to one of my spiritual mothers/mentor the other day, she kept telling me, “We have power and authority to command any demon to go. You see something you don’t like, you speak to that thing and tell it to go in The Name of Jesus. The world was created by The Word, there is power and authority in our words, we have to begin to use The Word to overcome.”
First, the Israelite’s obeyed the Lord’s command, walk around that giant wall in God’s presence for once a day for 6 days. Then, on the seventh day, MARCH, not walk, but march around that giant wall seven times. Afterwards, once they heard that horn blow, they SHOUTED TO THE LORD as loudly as they could and THE WALLS CAME DOWN.
Matthew 10:1
Jesus…gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
Luke 10:19
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.
Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Romans 4:17
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
They had God’s presence with them, POWER & AUTHORITY on their side and the SHOUT OF THE KING was with them. The Shout of The King is with us.
The Lord is saying,
“SPEAK TO YOUR GIANTS WITH AUTHORITY, SHOUT & SPEAK TO YOUR MOUNTAINS AND THEY SHALL BE MOVED!”
