As previously stated in “Don’t Let Fear Hold You In Paralysis” Part 1, the enemy set out to attack me…and this attack was unlike any other attack I’ve ever encountered.
During this attack, the enemy threatened me…he threatened I was in danger of having my identity stolen, all of our banking information, social security numbers, everything pertinent to me, us, was in danger of being stolen at any moment, sold to others, and used for the purposes of terrorism…W-H-A-A-A-A-T!!!!! Naturally, I was upset, bewildered, nervous and anxious…I wasn’t prepared for this type of attack…and I’m no exception to the rule, this happens to people every day, so I was fearful. **Just a little friendly disclaimer for those that know me personally, please refrain from any questions out of concern…the bottom line is God Got The Glory and everything is okay!!!! 
The enemy knew he couldn’t get me to fall in other ways, so he struck me where apparently I had a weakness…Fear. For a moment, I was caught off guard, but God quickened me and showed me what to do. During that process, The Lord was quite…I didn’t hear a word. The Lord was showing me something…He was showing me my weakness and allowed for this attack to happen.
What was The Lord showing me? FEAR HAS THE CAPACITY TO CAUSE ANYONE, ANYONE TO FALL…NO MATTER HOW STRONG OR PREPARED YOU THINK YOU MAY BE. He was showing me a weakness or an area not as covered as it ought to be…He want’s me to examine fear and the role it plays in my life.
The Lord is telling THE BODY WE NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO HOW FEAR AFFECTS AND TRIPS US UP.
During these final days, The Lord is telling the Body prepare yourselves to fight against the spirit of panic and fear…this is a weapon the enemy will use and currently using to attack the body. Christians and non-Christians all over the world are undergoing attacks of every degree…but the enemy’s tactic is to strike the body with terror and fear to put us in paralysis….We have to pay attention and deal with the fears we hide within us.
This is the time we have to dig deep in our Faith and Trust in the God that Saves, Heals, Delivers, Protects and The Sovereign God That Has Our Back. What We Believe About God Will Be Tested.
As we fight to overcome and gain ground over the enemy, we’ll be tested…God was showing me that I MUST PAY ATTENTION TO FEAR And REBUKE IT IN MY OWN LIFE.
The Lord is saying to you also:
“PAY ATTENTION TO THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, REBUKE IT IN YOUR OWN LIFE AND PRAY FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST TO THWART OFF THIS SPIRIT …THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE MAJOR SPIRITS CALLED TO ATTACK THE BODY AND PUT US IN PARALYSIS FROM ADVANCING THE KINGDOM. “
What does all of this have to do with my fight against obesity? EVERYTHING!
I see now, this is why the enemy has always fought me so hard in losing weight…apparently, I’m tapping into something…God is using my obesity to birth a deliverance movement, deliverance for myself first in conquering my giants one by one, but then, deliverance for others as I go through my process and share what God is sharing with me.
The enemy has always tripped me up in this area, and this is the one thing I could never get a handle on…this thing right here, this obesity thing…it was designed to kill me…this has been a HUGE giant that I couldn’t conquer on my own…EVER!
Before I could even get to a place of thinking of losing weight, I had many layers of fear I had to work past to even get to this place: fighting self-doubt and discouragement, fear of failure, public embarrassment and humiliation, fear of disclosure and criticism, rejection, facing pain of old wounds I’ve buried forever, hackers, spyware and spam comments sent by the thousands to overload and destroy my site, being sensitive to the voice of God and communicating His Messages, and the biggest of all, the accountability I have to God and the people of God of making it to the finish line…that’s just to name a few…but now, I’ve gotten pass most of these fears and now in the midst of conquering others
Since I’ve stepped out on faith and chose to believe God, I’M BREAKING FREE & HEALING INWARDLY, Praise God…HALLELUJAH! I’m finally changing outwardly by letting God change me inwardly and I’m shedding those previous destructive behaviors that was causing my demise and I’m shedding the pounds too. So Yeah, the enemy is angry, BUT SO WHAT!, I’M COMING INTO MY PURPOSE AND GOD GOT ME!
I just want to encourage you…If there’s something God is calling you to do, whether it’s getting your temple in order in pursuit of health and wholeness, overcoming habits, addictions, strongholds, destructive behavior, various acts of obedience either big or small He’s asking of you, whatever that thing is, it’s all connected to your purpose, our purpose.
As we overcome in those areas God is calling us to conquer, the enemy will try whatever he can to keep us bound…he’ll send attacks to evoke fear and get us to take our eyes off of Jesus…and sometimes we will get afraid…I was afraid the other day and I beat myself up about it…but God was showing me something I needed to work on and allowed that challenge to come.
If I don’t deal with the fear…fear will deal with me…but GOD IS ALL POWERFUL AND WE DON’T HAVE TO BE AFRAID…He’ll help us overcome…but He wants to rid us of fear before we get to the promise-land… the higher the level, new devil. In order for the Israelite’s were able to receive the promise-land, the final battle was overcoming their fear and facing their giants. Most of the adult Israelite’s never reached the promise for they allowed the fear of giants to be bigger than their God…so they died off and someone else inherited the promise…NO THANK YOU!
As Joyce Meyer’s says, “Do It Afraid.” Even at times if we’re fearful, and we will face fear, sometimes I’m afraid of this new level, but you know what, We’ll Just Do It Afraid…God is With Us!
